Grind House Killer Burgers Restaurant Review: Grind House Killer Burgers started out in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market with a simple counter service arrangement; this second location thrives in northeast Atlanta, despite an intense acoustic environment (take refuge on the covered patio). Burgers come in beef, turkey and veggie (legumes and quinoa) versions and in two sizes: "junior" or single patty, and double, featuring two patties of freshly ground Angus beef for the traditional burgers. While you may build your own burger, a variety of specialty burgers makes choosing even harder. The "Dixie" burger, for instance, comes with pimento cheese, fried green tomatoes, coleslaw and ranch dressing --- an overload in our view. Milk shakes make good meal-enders, and several "adult" flavors are offered. Wine boils down to "Cheap" and "Classy," so go with a brew, especially the local suds (Atlanta's own Sweetwater is offered in four flavors). Hot dogs, kids’ meals and some appealing salads round out the menu. Also located in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market, 209 Edgewood Ave. SE, Atlanta, 404-522-3444; and Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
