Guido's Pizza Haven Restaurant Review: Guido’s has been serving up homemade Italian fare for decades to a dedicated fan-base in Cleveland’s eastern suburbs. It is known primarily for its pizza, which is an airier version of a Sicilian style and baked fresh to order with a unique, crunchy crust. Toppings are added under the cheese, helping to lock everything into place. Guido’s makes its own sausage (more like ground beef than the over-seasoned varietal you may be accustomed to) as well as its bright and zesty sauce. Pasta is made in house, too, and served alongside traditional dishes like eggplant Parmigiana and lemon chicken. Still, our go-to choice is the sausage and mushroom pie. Guido’s current dining space features additional seating, an open kitchen and more modern décor, as well as party rooms and banquet space. The place doesn’t accept credit or debit cards, so plan accordingly.
