In an effort to cater to the varied clientele of the Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel, this elegant Japanese restaurant with its Zen sand gardens and calming water features has broadened its menu to include a wondrous selection of steaks and fresh island fish alongside traditional Japanese fare. From its 12-seat sushi bar comes superb, delicate fresh sashimi, along with endless varieties of sushi; sukiyaki, nabemono and shabu-shabu remain favorites. But also try the lobster or the catch of the day, which go great with the saké, and, if you are around, make sure to visit the steak-and-seafood buffet on Friday and Saturdays, which has rapidly earned the restaurant a loyal local following. We think this is a very fine Japanese establishment.
