THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hanna's Gourmet Diner Restaurant Review:

This roadside North Miami Beach stainless steel retro diner (open since 1983) serves up a mix of rustic French and classic American fare. Owners Sia and Nicole Hemmati bought it from original owner Jean-Pierre Lejeune in the late 90s and kept the recipes, staff and loyal regulars. The interior resembles a charming European railcar with cloth napkins and fresh roses on the counter. Offerings include escargots baked in garlic butter as well as kosher hot dogs and cheeseburgers with fries. Expect celery root salad, lamb shank braised in red wine and trout meunière plus filet mignon, veal piccata and seafood gratin, too. Check the chalkboard for daily specials. The airy custard fruit tart for dessert sells out early. There are plenty of moderately priced French wines to accompany snails or a burger.
