THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hedary's Lebanese Oven & Grill Restaurant Review:
Theres an awful lot to like about this strip mall-situated restaurant. Start with the attentive, personable service, move on to the mouth-puckeringly good homemade lemonade, and factor in the homemade tangy yogurt. Tabouli (grains mixed with tomatoes, parsley, mint, and seasonings) and hummus (a chickpea-based dip) start the meal off in style, especially when combined with the tasty pita bread. Select any of the dishes that feature lamb (or substitute lamb for beef for a fraction more in cost,) as this restaurant raises its own lamb, and youll be hard-pressed to ever find any better. At lunch, go with the shwarma sandwich, a symphony of steak (but get the lamb instead), with grilled tomatoes and onions in pita bread, and ladle on a dollop of the yogurt, and youll have a feast. That same good lamb is what makes the shish kabobs so popular. For dessert, try the rice pudding, lightly seasoned with rosewater.
