High Road Craft Ice Cream & Sorbet Restaurant Review

: Chef Keith Schroeder and his wife Nicki are behind this artisan ice cream and sorbet company. Inventive flavors intrigue, and the seasonal pumpkin tastes just like a dive into a pumpkin pie. But we'll never abandon the Fleur de Sel Vanilla, and we like the traditional flavors such as Brown Butter Praline with pecans. Some are influenced by strong drinks, such as the Bourbon Burnt Sugar, rivaling crème brûlée, or the Caramelized Banana, with its hit of locally produced Richland Rum. Toffee Toasted Almond satisfies the craving for nuttiness. High Road makes its own limoncello for a tangy sorbet. The facility is open for tastes and retail sales on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
