Hillstone Restaurant Review: Unless you go early or late, expect a considerable wait for a table --- but you won’t mind the wait on a nice evening. Grab a drink from the bar, slide into one of the Adirondack chairs outside on the wraparound patio, and enjoy the breeze off Lake Killarney. Hillstone’s bar is packed by 6 p.m., though not everyone there is waiting for a coveted table. Once you get a seat, the attentive waitstaff snaps into action, and the food is delivered pronto. Start off with the grilled California artichokes with rémoulade dipping sauce. For an entrée, the Hawaiian rib-eye steak is among the most popular, prepared with a pineapple soy ginger marinade and hard wood grilled producing a steak that is juicy, sweet and satisfying. If you enjoy salmon, go for the wood grilled Scottish salmon with lentil vinaigrette. The warm five-nut brownie à la mode with Champagne custard is a nice way to top off the meal.
