The oven-cooked barbecued ribs are falling-off-the-bone tender, which won't please the barbecue purist, but plenty of folks like them. Start with the spinach dip, made in this case mostly with spinach and not with cream cheese. Soups are lovely, and vary according to the day of the week. Get there for the baked potato soup, which appears at different locations on different days and is one of Houston's longest-surviving signature dishes. First-rate salads are influenced by Thai flavors, and don’t pass up the chili on Saturdays. The burgers are quite good, too, especially the hickory burger.
