THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Houston's Restaurant Review:

Founded in Atlanta in 1977, this extremely popular chain now is run out of Phoenix, Arizona. It's a testament to the fact that quality and consistency can be maintained in a well-run corporation. The basic American fare in a comfortable atmosphere, with lots of brick, brass railings and an open kitchen, elevate this beyond your average fern bar, and the service is usually steady. The popular barbecued ribs are indeed falling-off-the-bone tender because they're oven-cooked, which won't please the barbecue purist, but plenty of folks like 'em. The prime rib is good, and so are any of the salads. Newly installed on the menu is the Evil Jungle Thai Noodle Steak Salad but the longstanding favorite is the grilled chicken salad with honey-lime vinaigrette and peanut sauce, also a Thai-influenced affair. Soups are lovely, especially the baked potato soup, which appears at different locations on different days. Saturday is chili day at all locations. Roast chicken and grilled tuna, when available, have been great values. Expect long waits at peak hours and plan accordingly. Other locations.
