 Hyde Park embraces classic steakhouse traditions as it welcomes the moneyed clientele that frequent this neighborhood. The attractively appointed interior provides a warm and clubby background for the straightforward but pricey menu, which includes fine aged steaks and chops, fresh seafood and creative chef specialties. Lobster bisque, blackened scallops and salads are among appetizers. Our favorite side is the hash brown potatoes served with caramelized onions and tangy sour cream. Be sure to ask your server for recommendations when pairing a wine from the notable list with your steak. After all that, if you still have room, try one of the traditional, and enormous, desserts.
