Hyde Street Seafood House & Raw Bar Restaurant Review: The specialty of this San Francisco old-timer is fish baked en papillote. Many diners choose to simply graze at the raw bar. Inexpensive, fresh and unpretentious, the seafood here is a neighborhood standby. Taking a cue from its seafaring menu, the interior is decked out to mirror a ship's cabin. Nautical maps line the walls and diners sit on wood plank benches. The only thing to dampen the experience is the service, which can be rather brusque and perfunctory. |
