The Lexington outpost of il Casale Cucina Campana + Bar is the sibling of the Belmont property owned and operated by chef Dante de Magistris and brothers Filippo and Damian de Magistris. The de Magistris family is originally from Italy’s Campania region, and this beautiful suburban restaurant references the area with sfizi "shareable little bites," homemade pasta, arancini and braised beef. Get started with a sampling of fresh burrata accompanied by candied pistachios, honey and Sicilian oregano. We also recommend the pasta puttanesca filled with anchovies, artichokes, capers, olives and tomatoes. Pair it with a glass of vino from Italy, and you are in for a night to celebrate. Let the tiramisu or a cannoli for dessert round out the experience.
