| Indian restaurants have become almost commonplace in the area, but Nepalese cooking is a rare jewel, and something to savor. Inconsistency, however, marks the food here, which can be glorious or mediocre. But, to its credit, the kitchen does offer a short selection of truly divine Nepalese dishes. The masu curry (lamb with yogurt) is stunning. Other offerings include Nepali kukhura (chicken marinated in yogurt), tandooried fish in a rich curry, lentils with vegetables, and grilled prawns. The Indian menu holds no surprises, with its usual pakoras, tandoori dishes, vindaloos (lamb, beef and chicken, all of which are too tame to win medals), biryanis and curries. The most economical way to enjoy this restaurant's food is to attack the lunch buffet. The second best bet, after the Nepalese food, is the bread. Want something sweet?
