Framed French landscapes on warm, ochre-tinted walls, wreaths of tangled wildflowers, and air perfumed with lemon, garlic and rosemary are a passport to Provence from the Jersey shore. Chef Adam Scott is a master of French classics, from silky foie gras to hearty coq au vin. He applies his creative contemporary fingerprint with seasonal specialties such as chilled lobster with mango in summer and pumpkin soup with candied pecans in autumn. And just for fun, he adds the occasional splash of Asian fusion---a ginger-soy glaze on the roasted pork, crispy soba noodles with the roasted beet and spinach salad. Janet Scott’s desserts are to die for, especially the rind-speckled Key lime pie and dark Belgian chocolate fondue.
