THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED J.B.'s Smokeshack Restaurant Review:
"The flavor's in the meat and the sauce is on the side": J.B.'s Smokeshack offers a solution to the age-old barbecue dilemma by offering the tenderest of smoked pork and ribs with an assortment of sauces including South Carolina classics based on vinegar-and-pepper, and Lowcountry mustard. The side dishes range from "meat-n-three" beans and macaroni to "dirt cake" for dessert. The dining room is festooned with pig-themed decorations like oven mitts and welcome mats, and the waitstaff could strike up a conversation with a telephone pole. All in all, it's a hard-core Southern experience underpinned by flawlessly smoked pork.
