The Rusty Harpoon is big on location; it has a prime spot on Dig Me Beach in Kaanapali. Watch your favorite sports game on the big-screen TVs and sip daiquiris such as mango, guava, pineapple, banana and coconut. As for the menu, it's that familiar formula designed to appeal to the masses. Wake up to the Belgian waffle bar in the mornings. Half-pound burgers, salads, sandwiches and the fresh catch take over for the rest of the day. Local seafood specials, like the crab and shrimp-stuffed mahi mahi or trio of fresh fish with three sauces including a mango beurre blanc, are offered at night.
