Jimbo Japanese Noodle Restaurant Restaurant Review: Sign your name on a clipboard and wait on the sidewalk for your turn at occupying one of the thirty seats. Jimbo specializes in udon, the round, cream-colored noodles. The eatery’s udon is made fresh daily, and has a delightful al dente bounce. Have them with the traditional dashi (soy-ginger broth) or with golden curry sauce thick with onion and bits of chicken. Combos are also on offer if you'd like a variety of dishes; we particularly enjoy the chicken katsu, shrimp tempura and pork kakuni don options. The small selection of desserts includes green tea ice cream topped with sweetened adzuki beans.
