| An impressive line-up of live music acts---jazz, blues, folk and more---maintains this Davis Square nightclub's reputation as a prime-time player. But between the rootsy tunes, there's a whole lotta chowin' going on. While the dinner menu makes New American twists and turns, the weekend brunch keeps it square and down-home; we prefer the latter, since fried catfish, cheddar grits and even, of all things, fine oatmeal go with a side of live zydeco better than do iffy sesame chicken tips and noodle stroganoff. |
