THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Johnny Rockets Restaurant Review:
An international chain, Johnny Rockets opened in 1986 on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, Calif. Whether seated in booths or at a counter, you’ll feel as if you were on the set of the film American Pie. The food is classic American burgers, grilled chicken, hot dogs and onion rings---all good. The milk shakes are first-rate, and so is the chili. The menu has added some signature trimmings to these thin-style burgers, such as the St. Louis burger, with its grilled onions and special sauce. Don’t want beef? You can get a ground turkey patty, and vegetarians have their own soy-based burger. There are lots of salads, too. Lovers of classic '50s music will enjoy the music selections available in the table-top jukebox. Other locations.
