Kama Indian Bistro Restaurant Review: It would be easy to overlook this small, narrow suburban storefront --- an ode to modern Indian cuisine with purple walls, low, luminous lighting and seating lined with shantung pillows. But that would be a shame, as the diverse, from-scratch dishes are loaded with complexity and are well prepared. The restaurant fills with families --- adventurous kids, too --- some of whom are spice-shy. To that end, there are plenty of options, since sauces shine. Garlic-scented shrimp sunnaina is just one example, its white wine-kissed tomato concassé sauce showing French technique. Slightly more warming, crispy, richly sauced blocks of chili potatoes demand naan to mop up any extras. But the dish we cannot forget is the tandoori lamb chops simmered in masala sauce. Even the creative martinis are made from house-made purées, infusions and syrups.
