 Katherine's Restaurant Review: Mesquite, a gambling town north of Las Vegas, is a popular stop for people driving to Las Vegas from Utah, but the CasaBlanca draws visitors all by itself rather than mere transients on the interstate. The restaurant tries to capture the mood of the famous Bogart movie about another desert oasis. The menu is full of the basic Continental standards, but they’re well-prepared and the service is good in a fun atmosphere, which is different and clearly created with affection for the film. |
