Ketchum Grill Restaurant Review: Ketchum Grill owners Scott and Anne Mason offer a quintessential Idaho dining experience, reinvented over time to maintain freshness and verve. The brightly lit main dining room, done in warm tones and with open seating and artful décor, is a gracious setting in which to enjoy the regional-seasonal menu. During winter months, diners gaze through frosty windows, while in spring and summer, outside seating is available on the spacious deck. Entrées may feature braised grass-fed Lava Lake lamb shank with grilled tomato polenta, or a peppery grilled breast of duck with mountain huckleberry port wine sauce. Pasta dishes have included linguine paired with grilled sausage, mustard, olives and dried tomatoes. Desserts are comfort food favorites: chocolate truffle cake, a rustic apple tart topped with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream, and house-made ice creams and sorbets. A sophisticated wine list stars Pacific Northwest varietals.
