Close to the huge VA hospital complex, Kitsch'n 155 has won neighborhood hearts for its daily specials, a meat and two. Costing less than $10, they include such home-style dishes as meatloaf, pot roast, hand-breaded chicken tenders on whole-grain bread and crab cakes. We also like the hamburger, a thin burger double-decked, made from Creekstone Farms beef --- try the version with bacon and blue cheese. The chili dog is another winner, and so are the milk shakes. Breakfast dishes feature fluffy, buttery biscuits, stone-ground grits, and even a breakfast burger topped with a fried egg. There are some sweet options, such as pecan pie and brownies, and good beers are available. The “155” in the restaurant’s name references the fact that Clairmont Road is GA 155.
