At Krung Thai, you choose two or three items to go with your rice (brown or white). Every day there are a dozen different dishes. We’re partial to the spicy eggplant tofu, the longbeans with pork, and the bamboo chicken curry, but you’re welcome to make up your own mind. There’s plenty of food, reasonably but not overwhelmingly spicy. A bonus: You can eat outside in the backyard garden on the covered lanai. Krung Thai is an oasis of peace in busy Chinatown.
