K'ya Bistro, Laguna Beach, CA

K'ya Bistro Restaurant Review

: Located inside the historic La Casa del Camino boutique hotel, this charming Laguna restaurant draws in locals with its lively Euro bistro vibe and reasonable price points. Its status as a hot-spot is further elevated by the eclectic cuisine from longtime chef Craig Connole. We suggest starting with the wild ahi poke or filet tips with horseradish cream. The farmhouse salad with dates, grilled corn, bacon, goat cheese and cashews acts as a nice intermezzo. The wide array of share plates encourages your entourage to indulge in several flavors, from Indian butter chicken with eggplant and naan to the must-have fried calamari with Thai glaze. Desserts such as the indulgent peanut crunch bars are also sharable. Most wines are available in four different pour levels, and the list features selections primarily from Napa Valley.
