La Cocina de Luz Restaurant Review: The menu is health-minded regional Mexican and features traditional cooking methods and ingredients, many of them organic: handmade tortillas, flavorful sauces and 12 varieties of chilies. Different regions of Mexico are the focus of daily specials. At the salsa bar, you can find your own favorite with six homemade concoctions, plus sour cream, onions and cilantro. The restaurant's name means "The Kitchen of Light" in Spanish and is the creation of local food lover Lucas Price, who wanted to offer the neighborhood something healthy and flavorful.
