| The air outside La Farine, a French-style bakery on College Avenue, is heavy with the aromas of sugar and yeast. Inside, the staff dispenses morning buns, pain au chocolat and brioche, which you can enjoy at the communal table in the window. The breads, from a walnut-wheat levain to a rustic baguette, have the yeasty tang of well-fermented dough and a crisp crust.
