This café's recipe for success is based on the tried-and-true formula of a buoyant bar scene, accommodating service, and accessible cuisine at affordable prices. The menu is comprised of salads, pastas, wood-burning-oven pizzas, grilled meats and seafood, and a number of chicken and veal scaloppine dishes, all served in generous portions. Pastas are especially filling, being in South Florida's favored Argentine/American "sauce with some pasta" style rather than the more spare Italian "pasta with some sauce" style. Further Argentine influence is seen in a prosciutto appetizer garnished with the country's beloved "golf sauce" (basically Thousand Island dressing). Skip the desserts for a cup of espresso and shot of Sambuca. Note: Music, both live and DJ’d, gets louder as the night goes on, so those who like conversation with dinner should come early.
