L'Anima Restaurant Review: This smart restaurant is light and airy with natural materials and subdued colors. It’s unashamedly aimed at City high-rollers or those with sophisticated tastes. Antonio Favuzzi is an accomplished chef, creating menus that change seasonally. Try chopped raw beef with Sardinian artichokes and bottarga; pastas might be fidelini with hand-picked crab, chilli and Amalfi lemon; while main courses tempt with the likes of butter and sage veal calf liver with pancetta and figs. Given the high standards, the menu offers a good value meal. The wine list is naturally dominated by Italy and champions some of the best; there are also wines by the glass or carafe. Service is as smooth as the venue.
