This quaint Nyack restaurant looks to the Tuscan town of Lucca for its inspiration. Chef Rossano Giannini’s cooking showcases the flavors and ingredients of that region, evident in the al dente pastas: lasagna Toscana and the spaghettini con gamberi with garlic, fresh herbs, spicy red pepper and extra virgin olive oil. Italian favorites like the chicken scarpariello served on or off the bone with vinegar peppers, sweet fennel sausage and cremini mushrooms and seared sea scallops or mascarpone risotto with sautéed flat leaf spinach are consistent winners.
