This lively and attractive Middle Eastern restaurant is a gathering place for the young and hungry who live in the many moderately priced apartment buildings along Connecticut Avenue in Woodley Park. You can create a satisfying meal out of the meze, such as grilled spicy sausages with tomato sauce, spinach-stuffed turnovers or a layered dish of eggplant and chickpeas. You’ll find some of the best dishes, however, among the main courses, such as the rotisserie chicken enveloped in a thin Lebanese pancake, the kebabs and the pilafs. Don't skip desserts, either.
