Lee's Hamburgers Restaurant Review: The legendary Lee's first set up shop in the Central Business District in 1901, but since has spawned a number of offspring with diverse ownerships. Some of the suburban locations are so basic, the tables and chairs become frills, and cheesy describes the décor more fittingly than the sandwiches. But fans who remember the original come for the slow-fried patties that are still embedded with chopped onions that caramelize as the meat cooks. The beef for these nostalgic bites is ground daily, and Lee's present-day fans would hardly let a week go by without stopping in for a fix. |
