Liberty Cheese Steaks Restaurant Review

: Liberty Cheese Steaks’ owners are two guys who were best friends in college and dreamed of opening their own business. The fact that cheesesteaks are not a staple in New Orleans did not stop them. One of them is from Philly, so he brings some street cred with him, and it shows. The menu offers a pizza steak, a chicken steak and a steak hoagie, but the real reason to come here is the original cheesesteak on a hoagie roll with onions and cheese. Three sauces are offered, but you won't really need them. What you will need are the "boil fries," which are french fries seasoned in spicy crab boil. Word-of-mouth has brought lines of people waiting to order, especially over lunch hours. Do yourself a favor and squeeze in.
