THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Liberty Restaurant Review:
The Lower Greenville area, eclectic enough on its own, now has Liberty exploring all types of Asian cuisine, including dishes from Malaysia and India. This tiny, laid-back place manages to attract both artsy Gen Xers and businesspeople, who fling their ties over their shoulders as they slurp bowls of noodles---Libertys specialty. The décor does a fun, contemporary take on the traditional, including a slate bar thats ideal for solo diners, who can watch the goings-on in the kitchen or browse the magazines provided for customers. Among the first dishes listed on the menu, our favorite is the Vietnamese spring rolls with a peanut-spiked plum sauce. In the big noodle category, the green Thai curry packs a tasty punch. We also love the big soups, and can happily make a meal of the spicy coconut kind. Bring friends---this is sharing food.
