THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED For many years, there was no hibachi restaurant anywhere in Hartford County, an unfortunate situation for those in search of an evening of eating and entertainment with a group of friends or family members. Happily, though, Little Saku fills the gap in the Farmington Valley, and its two hibachi tables are manned by chefs with a knack for not only preparing delectable grilled steak, chicken, fish, shellfish and vegetables but for delighting diners with their culinary jokes and tricks. Hearty hibachi meals---scallop and steak are our favorites---are served with soup, salad, vegetables and fried rice. Though hibachi is the main attraction, this spot also offers a full menu of other Japanese specialties including tempura, teriyaki, noodle dishes and vegetarian entrées for both eat-in and take-out dining. You'll also find a strong selection of expertly prepared sushi and sashimi, served à la carte or in generous combinations. Can't make up your mind?
