Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar Restaurant Review:

South Boston's Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar offers tacos and Mexican-inspired dishes as well as a selection of tequilas that transform traditional Bloody Marys into Bloody Marias. Expect fresh oysters on the half shell and ceviche in its every form (think sea bass, rock shrimp, oyster and diver scallop). We like the crunchy fried oyster tacos topped with Sriracha aïoli and cucumber pickles as well as the juicy carne asada flank steak tacos with chimichurri, green mole and queso fresco. The loaded wings are tossed with a sweet and spicy sauce topped with peanuts, but we ventured toward the duck taquitos that arrived with a sweet plum sauce. Don't miss the chunky bacon guacamole served with a side of lightly salted tortilla chips. For main events, choose from pork carnitas, chicken enchiladas, blackened swordfish and steak and potatoes. Warm churros with a side of chocolate sauce are worth sharing.
