THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED LowCountry Barbecue Express Restaurant Review

: THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED For South Carolina-style barbecue, this is the place. That means that while you can get a tomato-based sauce to go with your pulled pork, what you really want is the lighter-bodied tangy vinegar-based sauce. That's Carolina 'cue. It's not a restaurant, but a carry-out location for some of the city's best 'cue. But you don't have to get gallons of this and that. Most minimum orders will serve three to four. You want the pulled pork barbecue or the totally awesome smoked chicken, although the ribs are good, too. Baked beans and cole slaw are top of the tank. We also like the sweet white corn that's been cooked in the husk for an hour. It's beautifully sweet and tender. On Sunday, previously placed orders may be delivered, but there's no to-go service. Also located at 355 Curie Dr., Alpharetta, 770-777-5907.
