THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Madras Chettinaad Restaurant Review:
The name change from Bollywood Masala Grill House to Madras Chettinaad seems like a radical modification, but in reality the only internal change is the addition of dishes from Southeastern India to the menu, such as dosai, the filled crisp crêpe-like pancakes. Serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, the restaurant remains a draw for those seeking entertainment along with their fine dining. The name reflects one of the better dishes, the vegetable chettinad, a blend of fresh veggies in a lightly spiced sauce. Seafood, tandoor, chicken and sizzlers are among the options. Alluding to India's thriving film industry, the place is filled with posters including images of some of the country's biggest film stars. Beer and wine are available. The huge wide-screen TV shows classical Indian music and dance---but not film.
