Take a date, your mate or the wedding party; there's room for everyone at this hot-spot where the Italian dishes are heaping, prices are reasonable and the atmosphere combines a touch of class with a welcoming warmth. There’s usually a wait, which allows time to sip a martini and listen to light jazz at the piano bar. This truly is a place for family-style dinners, although smaller portions are available. Pick your appetizer, pastas, salads and dessert and then eat, eat, eat. For starters, the lightly coated, fried zucchini is addictive, especially when teamed with a zesty, lemony mayonnaise sauce. The shrimp and angel hair arrabbiata has just enough spice to make it memorable, although the chicken cacciatore served over tender wide pasta is equally as good. The desserts are plentiful so take your pick, as long as two are the cinnamony apple crostada or the ice cream-filled puffs topped with a fudge sauce.
