Known as Andy’s to everyone in the neighborhood, this health-food store makes great sandwiches stacked with sprouts, turkey, avocado or even grilled eggplant. Whatever you do, get one of Andy’s superb smoothies, chock-full of fruit. Especially good is the protein shake. Sit down at one of the tiny tables for breakfast pastries or pancakes or lunch goodies. Take some of the energy bars (actually cookies) and esoteric nutritious fruit drinks with you for a snack later.
