Marche Artisan Foods Restaurant Review: On Saturday and Sunday mornings, it’s difficult to get a table at Marché, but it’s more than worth the wait. Just kick back, order a Bellini and watch the waiters whoosh by, bearing quiches and omelets to delighted diners. Chef Margot McCormack first stole Nashville’s heart with her fine-dining restaurant Margot, and just around the corner in East Nashville this spot offers the same dedication to organic and local ingredients at a lower price point. Lunch and dinner feature seasonally inspired soups and entrées, as well as simple, rustic choices such as a turkey potpie or smoked trout almandine. Classic sweets such as crème brûlée are fine finishes to the meal. The wine selection is limited and largely serves as a teaser for what's in store at Margot. |
