Marin Joe's Restaurant Review: Owned and run for more than 50 years by two generations of the Della Santina family, Joe’s is a longtime draw for locals who enjoy the old-time atmosphere, the Italian-American food, good steaks and moderate prices. The Caesar salad, pastas and cheesecake are all satisfying options, and Wednesday's osso buco always sells out. The mesquite grill is the largest and most dramatic in Marin County, and the inch-thick onion-laced hamburgers cooked on it are addictive. Marin Joe’s is also the only piano bar in Marin County, featuring live music nightly in a saloon that would have made Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack feel right at home. |
