The Mariner's Inn Restaurant Review

: The Mariner's Inn has long been a hot-spot for steaks and seafood. Appetizer options include seafood-stuffed mushrooms with shrimp and crab meat, glazed with hollandaise. Entrées range from macadamia-encrusted grouper, stuffed orange roughy and Mediterranean tilapia with fresh salsa to Canadian lobster tails bursting with shrimp and blue crab meat. Landlubbers can select from a half-dozen thick steaks, chicken Betty Lou stuffed with wild rice and mushrooms served with a Chardonnay sauce or Mariner’s duck with a raspberry Chambord sauce. Can't decide? Choose a combo dinner with seafood and steak.

Mariner's Inn- Madison, WI

Terrible, overpriced, and overrated. My wife had been craving crab legs for several weeks, so we decided to splurge and go to the Mariner's Inn. She ordered the Alaskan King crab dinner for $42.00. When the order arrived, we discovered that there was only one and a half skinny crab legs split long-ways down the leg. On top of that, the splitting of the crab legs left the meat exposed and as a result the meat was rather dry.
