THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED At City Place, the entertainment-dining venue in West Palm Beach, Mark Militello opened another South Florida location, featuring his contemporary American cuisine and his first sushi-sashimi bar. This two-level, 240-seat operation offers starters like a roasted beet root salad with goat cheese, asparagus and aged balsamic and sea scallops with Jamaican spiced oxtail. Innovative pizzas include tuna with wasabi cream and caviar and Maine lobster with grilled asparagus, scallions and fontinella cheese. Among entrée options are roast garlic-stuffed tenderloin of beef with Gorgonzola polenta and black peppercorn-crusted yellowfin with celeriac mash and haricots verts. Sushi is served by the piece and as rolls and sides, and Militello has also designed specialty temaki (hand-rolls) and makimono (rolls). We expect this spot to be embraced as warmly as Militello's others: Mark's Las Olas and Mark's at the Park.
