Marlow's Tavern Restaurant Review: The multiple locations of Marlow’s Tavern are individually chef driven, as is the organization that owns them all, so while sharing a common menu, which changes frequently, each often may steer just slightly outside the box to develop its own specials. Worthy touches include the use of stone-ground grits at brunch, for instance. Starters may be easily shared; the burgers are made with such high-quality meat that they may be ordered rare. Sandwiches, burgers and salads are the mainstay of the menu, but we've enjoyed the grilled salmon, too. Brunch offers carving and omelet stations, crab cake Benedict and pancakes. The beer list is better than the wine list, but that, too, changes frequently. At this location, a rooftop patio fairly hops when live entertainment is offered, providing perhaps the best music venue for miles. Ask about promotions that may enliven a visit. Other locations. |
