Masa Comida Mexicana Restaurant Review: During the day, this upscale Mexican dining room sizzles with a trendy atmosphere; at night, the restaurant has a party vibe with live music and dancing. Food-wise, we suggest the chicken and mango empanadas, and the Mexican street corn --- roasted kernels smothered with mayonnaise, sprinkled with paprika, and then scraped from the cob right at your table. Tacos and enchiladas with a twist are always available, but for a more adventuresome meal, choose the carne asada basted with house-made barbecue sauce and served with sides of rice and beans, or chorizo and bacon orzo. Tequila from an extensive selection can combine with white cranberry or muddled fresh citrus to accommodate the cocktail-minded. Service, alas, can be inconsistent and is notoriously slow. |
