Massa's Seafood Grill Restaurant Review: Colorful anthropomorphic fish capering against a sea-blue background welcome guests to Massa's. The whimsical mural outside and the sunny, soft yellow lighting are friendly winks to set you at ease in this sophisticated seafood restaurant. The Gulf seems almost at your feet when you're served a platter of plump oysters on the half shell and sweet crab cakes perked up with Key lime beurre blanc. This only sets the stage for planks of fresh local fish, mahi mahi and Asian tuna. Some dishes adhere to local custom, such as Gulf shrimp sautéed with sharp sweet onions and fennel, served over spinach linguine with roasted garlic marinara. Farm-raised catfish, farm-fresh chicken and beef are also on the menu---along with a traditional grilled filet mignon topped with mushrooms and served with potatoes. The wine list is impressive. |
