 Matsumoto Shave Ice Restaurant Review: One of the first things tourists do on the North Shore is look for the world-famous Matsumoto Shave Ice, which has been around for six decades. At peak hours, the shave ice line goes out the door and down the street, so make sure you go early. The ice is fine and packed in uniform mounds for a very photogenic product. While they offer many of the popular flavors that other shave ice spots have, we like the island flavors like guava and lilikoi (passion fruit), which taste like they were made with actual fruit. |
