| Rotisserie chicken and oysters seem like odd bedfellows but pair nicely at this restaurant. The style is casual, but sophisticated enough for date night or a business dinner (it’s close to Microsoft’s main campus). Appetizers include fresh shucked oysters, of course, but also spicy Buffalo wings and a prawn and avocado pizza. The wood-fired rotisserie puts out crispy salt and pepper chicken, as well as slow-roasted, juicy prime rib and rack of pork. The comprehensive menu also includes seafood and Argentina street tacos. Rotating dinner specials can range from Cajun jambalaya to grilled king salmon served with three-cheese polenta. Choose from a well-priced regional wine list, either by the glass or full bottle, to accompany your selection. The special kids’ menu also offers many reasonably priced items. For dessert, we recommend the bittersweet Belgian chocolate soufflé, Snicker’s pie, or apple cobbler served with warm caramel sauce. This well-managed, pleasant restaurant is a joint project of Seattle natives Matt Fleck and chef Chris Matthew Hill. |
