Max Burger Restaurant Review: Anything but your typical burger joint, Max Burger features all-natural, certified Angus Niman Ranch beef burgers, juicy and spot-on renditions of the American classic. Settle back in this eco-friendly eatery that oozes "stockyard chic." Menu choices range from the Max Classic, a five- or eight-ounce burger with Max’s own specially created hot sauce on an artisan roll, to the Fatty Melt, an eight-ounce burger served between two grilled cheeses and topped with house-cured bacon. But there’s more than just burgers on the menu. "Max and cheese" is just-like-mama-made macaroni and cheese and other comfort food choices include Hilda’s meatloaf with made-from-scratch gravy. French fries are hand-cut and crispy while house-made pickles are a pleasantly sweet-and-sour addition to the plate. For those who imbibe, be sure to try the “adult” milkshakes, rich, creamy and served with a kick of favorite liqueurs.
